St. Luke's Episcopal Health Charities has developed PROJECT SAFETY NET, a free, public health web-based resource for our community. Project Safety Net, endorsed by the Harris County Public Healthcare System Council, allows users a single interactive bi-lingual web site offering free health access information such as safety net clinic locations, services, hours of operation, languages spoken and financial requirements. Project Safety Net also allows health planners to prioritize and identify with greater specificity, underserved areas where there is insufficient capacity and to determine potential expansion. Click here for this interactive site Gateway to Care has developed a 2-page flyer that shows where the various clinics are located throughout the Greater Houston area. Click below for the appropriate language: Gateway to Care does maintain a complete list of clinics that are included by Project Safety Net. These are available at: If you need primary care, please click here. If you need dental services, please click here. If you need only immunizations, please click here. If you need prenatal services, please click here. If you need pediatric services, please click here. All content is available in printable, Adobe Acrobat (pdf) format only. You can download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader Program here to view these files.
Please note that each clinic/organization on the above lists has its own eligibility requirements. Gateway to Care STRONGLY suggests that when you call for an appointment, request the necessary information needed to confirm eligibility. If any information is incorrect or if clinic hours have changed, please contact: Gateway to Care at 713.783.4616. Friday, May 26, 2006 |
